Will Be Heading to New York City

“This is a once in a lifetime opportunity for me. I have never received an award as big as this one,” stated Andy Kim.

Andy Kim, an eighth grade student at McCullough Junior High, has been selected as a Young Naturalist Award Winner for 2014. The American Museum of Natural History in New York City presents the Young Naturalist Awards each year to support student achievement in the science, technology, engineering and mathematics disciplines. More than 800 essays were judged by a panel of scientists, educators, environmentalists and writers. Andy was only one of two national winners for the eighth grade. click here for complete story
