In their only year playing for The Woodlands, Bubacarr Jobe and Jose Pablo Covarrubias formed an unstoppable tandem.

The attackers led the Highlanders on a memorable unbeaten streak that lasted 22 matches, and for their efforts they nabbed The Courier’s top postseason accolades. Jobe is the Montgomery County Player of the Year and Covarrubias the Offensive Most Valuable Player, though it easily could have gone the other way.
