The Woodlands learned Saturday that the Lady Highlanders would be playing Rockwall instead of Kingwood in the Region II-5A softball finals.

On Monday, they got their next destination and will be aiming toward the state tournament. The Woodlands (36-3) will face Rockwall (28-6-1) in a best-of-three series starting Thursday at Baylor University in Waco. Game 1 will be held at 8 p.m. on Thursday, followed by a 7 p.m. start on Friday.
