Rockwall Heath used a passed ball and a sacrifice fly in the seventh to earn a 3-1 win in Game 1 of the Region II-5A semifinals at Mary Hardin Baylor in Belton on Thursday.

Jake Salinas scored on a passed ball to break a 1-1 tie moments before Kelly Dorsett hit a sacrifice fly to score Tyler Pinkston to take a 3-1 lead. Game 2 will be at 7 p.m. Friday at Mary Hardin Baylor. Travis Jones led off the bottom of the seventh with a walk but a double play and a comebacker would squander any chances for the Eagles. Dorsett had an RBI single to give Rockwall Heath a 1-0 lead in the top of the third. click here for complete story
