College Station scored 3 runs in the 8th inning and won the Class 3A State Championship following a 5-2 win over Argyle at Disch Falk Field Thursday evening.

College Station took a 2-1 lead into the 7th inning, but a pair of Cougar errors lead to an Eagle run sending the game to extra innings tied at 2. In the 8th Jaxxon Grisham delivered a 2-out 2-run double to give the Cougars some breathing room.
