The Woodlands offensive lineman Tyler Rapp, who is headed to Air Force this fall, is in a group of recently graduated players who are representing Conroe ISD this weekend at the Bayou Bowl.
Kickoff is set for 7 p.m. Saturday at Mercer Stadium in Sugar Land.
“It’s awesome because Tyler’s one of those kids who grew up in and around our football program,” coach Mark Schmid said. “His father (offensive coordinator Jim Rapp) and I have coached together for 20 years, so Tyler’s been around our football field and our office ever since he could walk.
The district’s other bowl selections are Oak Ridge linebacker Clayton Grett, College Park defensive back Alex Myres and Conroe quarterback Stedman Bell, who are among 80 players from 80 schools. Read more…
