Baseball: ORWALL National 10-11s best ORWALL American

The ORWALL National League All-Stars punched out 10 runs in the third inning on their way to a decisive 13-6 victory over the ORWALL American League All-Stars in the first round of the 10- and 11-year-old District 28 Little League tournament on Wednesday night at the Oak Ridge Woodlands Area Little League fields.

American took the lead in the top of the first inning when the National catcher chased Reed Brandt to first base after a dropped third strike. Teammate Cade Moore, who was on third base, scored for a 1-0 advantage.

National answered in the bottom of the frame, though, when Bailey Brassard delivered an RBI single to left field, scoring Jaiden Willems. American plated four runs in the third inning, as Tyler Meek, Dillon Noriega and Bryce Fuller drew bases-loaded walks and Meek came home on a wild pitch. click here for complete story
