Dethroned as district champions last season by neighboring rivals Atascocita, the Kingwood High School boys’ cross country team faces an even greater challenge beginning with the upcoming 2014 season.
Realignment placed Kingwood (and Atascocita) in the newly-formed 6A division and into District 16-6A with perennial powers The Woodlands as well as with a rising College Park program that finished second in the state in 2013.
Along with Conroe, Oak Ridge, and Summer Creek, the new district could arguably be the toughest in the state. click HERE for complete story
