The Woodlands’ Abby Langkamp and Aubrey Leach, who will be seniors this fall, recently landed on MaxPreps’ Underclass All-American softball team.

They helped the Highlanders reach the Class 5A championship game this past season.

“It was a great honor, and they actually, a couple weeks before, made the NFCA (National Fastpitch Coaches Association) All-American team, so that was the second All-American team they’ve been named to,” coach Richard Jorgensen said. “It’s a great honor for them, their season and for our program as well.”

Langkamp was 26-0 going into the state final. The Baylor pledge finished 26-1 with a 1.69 ERA and 184 strikeouts to 35 walks in 156 2/3 innings pitched, leading the Highlanders to a 39-4 record. click HERE for complete story
