The Woodlands’ Chris Andritsos and Colton Wardle were named to the Texas Sports Writers Association all-state baseball teams, released by the organization Thursday afternoon.

The Woodlands’ Colton Wardle was named to the Texas Sports Writers Association honorable mention team as a second baseman.

The Woodlands’ Chris Andritsos (18) was named to the Texas Sports Writers Association all-state first team as a first baseman.

Andritsos, a University of Oklahoma commit, was selected to the first team as a first baseman and was given honorable mention as a pitcher. In his junior season, the reigning Montgomery County Player of the Year hit .453/.574/.953 with 11 home runs, eight doubles and 35 RBIs.
