Rodney Anderson scored two touchdowns in the first half and the Katy Tigers cruised to a 31-0 victory over Kingwood in the opener for both teams.

Despite fumbling twice early in the game, Anderson completely changed the momentum of the game with a 67 yard punt return for a score in the 2nd quarter. He had 46 rushing yards.
