Another accident has occurred on Lake Conroe early this Labor Day evening, at approximately 5:30 p.m. The incident occurred in the vicinity of the April Sound boat ramp where one man was rescued and another is still missing and presumed drowned.

Lt. Timothy Cade of the Constables Precinct 1 Marine Division, reported that a 25-year old male was rescued and transported to a local hospital. The search for second male continued until 8:30 p.m., but was called off due to darkness, and would resume Tuesday morning at dawn.
