Volleyball: Oak Ridge Lady War Eagles Volleyball push through adversity, take down Tomball

The Oak Ridge Lady War Eagles fought through some early game stagnation to best the Tomball High School Cougars by a score of 25-16, 25-11, 25-23 on Oak Ridge’s home court Tuesday night. Oak Ridge is now 11-1 in their last 12 games, and are looking to hit their stride with district play around the corner.

OR_vs_Tomball_rotator“We are yet to drop a set when we get behind like we did in the third,” said head coach Tommie Lynne Sledge. “It will be tougher to do that against teams in district, but we haven’t dropped a set when we were down like that yet, and that makes me really happy.”

Leading the way for the Lady War Eagles was Brooke Clark with 13 kills, to go along with nine digs. Jackie Ward had a strong game with 18 assists and 15 digs, and Carly Graham added 13 digs, 12 assists, and six kills. Raigen Cianciulli led the way in digs with 22. click here for complete story
