College Park swept Magnolia 25-16, 25-18, 25-22 on Friday night. Emily Thorson had 13 kills and 11 digs as the Lady Cavaliers improved to 17-4.
“I use my energy and am a very competitive person,” Thorson said. “I try to talk as much as possible on the court and help out my teammates to make sure they know what’s going on all the time.”
Senior Morgan Miller was a leader on the other side of the court with 16 of Magnolia’s kills and 14 digs. Miller had the most kills in the match.
Oak Ridge stops Klein Collins: The Lady War Eagles won in four sets. Brooke Clark led Oak Ridge (19-3) with 20 kills and two aces.
The Woodlands sweeps Klein Oak: The Lady Highlanders defeated the Lady Panthers 25-19, 25-17, 25-13 on Friday evening.
