The Kingwood girls varsity cross country team faced a tough early season test at the Montgomery Moonlight Madness meet last Thursday night.

The meet featured txrunning.com preseason state 6A favorite College Park and eight other area teams. The Division 1 varsity race was run under the lights on a 5K course that featured some hilly terrain and difficult footing. click here for complete story
