College Park opened District 16-6A play at Atascocita on Tuesday afternoon and came away with a 17-2 victory over the Eagles.

The Woodlands, meanwhile, earned a win of its own, pummeling Conroe 18-1. Oak Ridge opened league play with an 18-1 loss to Kingwood.
