The Woodlands 3, Katy 0: The Woodlands picked up a win over Katy in straight sets on Tuesday night, defeating the Lady Tigers 25-19, 25-11, 25-18 at Katy High School.

Courtney Quinn led the No. 5 state-ranked Lady Highlanders (21-2) with 19 kills. The Woodlands opens District 16-6A competition at 5:30 p.m. on Friday at Conroe.

Brazos Christian 3, TWCA 2: The Woodlands Christian Academy lost a tough, five-set match against Brazos Christian on Tuesday evening in Bryan, 25-17, 25-22, 15-25, 18-25, 5-15.
