Cross Country: College Park wins titles at Oak Ridge Invitational

College Park Sweep: College Park’s cross-country program swept the team and individual titles in soggy weather conditions at the Oak Ridge Invitational on Saturday morning. College Park’s Connor Meaux and Camila Cortina finished first in the boys and girls races, respectively, as the Cavaliers and Lady Cavaliers earned dominating team victories over the rest of the field.

Lady Cavs roll: No. 1 state-ranked College Park captured first through seventh place, with Cortina leading the way at 19 minutes, 44.40 seconds.

Erana leads The Woodlands boys: Javier Erana finished second overall at 16 minutes, 27.87 seconds to help the No. 3 state-ranked Highlanders to a runner up finish.

Oak Ridge girls finish strong: Tori Valka led the way for the Lady War Eagles with a ninth-place finish, crossing the finish line at 20 minutes, 49.30 seconds.

Oak Ridge boys take third: The War Eagles took third place as a team with a score of 77. Theo Goff led the way, finishing in 12th place at 16 minutes, 58.93 seconds.
