Kelsey Brann wasn’t hard to spot at the Youth Olympics. In addition to stellar goalkeeping play, the Atascocita sophomore’s long blonde hair helped her stick out as a member of U15 Team Mexico women’s team as it competed in China in August.

“People were shocked at times,” Brann said. “I do look 100 percent American. I have to tell people I’m still a small part Mexican.”
