The Oak Ridge Lady War Eagles needed only 55 minutes and three games to defeat the arch-rival Conroe Tigerettes in a District 16-6A volleyball match Tuesday night at Oak Ridge High School.

The 25-17, 25-9, 25-14 victory moved the Lady War Eagles to 22-3 overall and a perfect 2-0 in district play. Oak Ridge, which is picked to challenge The Woodlands and College Park for the conference crown, opened league play with a 3-0 win over Kingwood. click here for complete story
