As Hurricane Odile slammed into Mexico this past weekend, Luken Baker and Team USA were winning the gold medal in the 18U Pan American Championship game against Cuba. While the game was called with Team USA winning 1-0 in the third inning (Team USA beat Cuba earlier in the tournament, finished 8-0 overall), not everyone associated with the team has returned from the tournament due to the weather.

Hurricane Odile made landfall near Cabo, San Lucas, Sunday night, which is about three hours from where the team was playing in La Paz. The Hurricane was a category three storm with winds as high as 125 mph. click here for complete story
