Conroe gets one last non-district test before venturing into District 16-6A play

when the Tigers visit MacArthur on Saturday night. Conroe has had to deal with an unusual practice schedule this week, first with the logistics of the Saturday game and then with all of the wet weather.
“We’ve had to change some things on the fly,” Tigers coach Robert Walker said. “I’m looking forward to seeing how we handle that. The weather has created some adversity and we’ve had to adapt, move some practices indoors.”
Conroe is expected to get 220-pound senior tailback Dontrell Dock back for Saturday’s game against the Generals. Dock, who rushed for 358 yards and four touchdowns in the Tigers’ first two games, sat out last week’s 73-14 victory over Aldine with a foot injury. click here for complete story
