After five years sitting dormant and overgrown in many areas, Jack Day – leaser and managing partner of The Golf Preserve of Atascocita, has announced that the Pinehurst and Point courses will reopen with a “Welcome Back Scramble” for members on Oct. 3.

Even though the sand bunkers are not finished being rebuilt and are scheduled to be completed around Thanksgiving, they are excited to host this event for local golfers. Commenting on the opening in October, Day said “ we had a preview of the courses for our members on Labor Day. They were all asking us to get it open and they will play through the bunker re-building process. They just want to be back on this much loved 18 holes.” click here for complete story
