Oak Ridge eased past Conroe on Friday in District 16-6A volleyball, defeating the Tigerettes 25-17, 25-17, 25-19. The Lady War Eagles improve to 6-2 in 16-6A play while Conroe fell to 2-6 in league play.

Victoria Harris led Oak Ridge with 15 kills. Jaclyn Ward had 24 assists for the Lady War Eagles while Smedley finished with 14 digs.

The Woodlands stops Atascocita: The Woodlands rolled past Atascocita, winning 25-12, 25-20, 25-17. The Lady Highlanders, the defending Class 5A state champion, improved to 30-2 overall and 8-0 in District 16-6A.
