Following a 24-14 loss to The Woodlands High School on Saturday, Oct. 4, which was their first loss of the season, the Atascocita Eagles looked to bounce back at home. And so far, their mission has been a successful one.
With a 49-27 win over Oak Ridge on Friday, Oct. 10, and a 27-15 win over the Summer Creek Bulldogs last Friday night, the Eagles improved to 3-1 in District 16-6A play and 7-1 overall, which keeps them in prime position for a 6A playoff berth. This past Friday’s game with the Bulldogs was a tight game all the way through. The Bulldogs, still hopeful of a playoff berth, led 15-14 after three quarters, but Atascocita seized control of the game late. click here for complete story
