It was a victory nine long years in the making.
“It means a lot,” Oak Ridge senior outside hitter Victoria Harris said. “I feel like our whole team just came out for the seniors tonight, and I feel like The Woodlands wasn’t expecting us to come out tough because we got crushed at their house. I feel like we just won the state championship, honestly.”
Brooke Clarke, Harris and Carly Graham led the attack for the Lady War Eagles, collecting 28, 18 and 16 kills, respectively. Graham also recorded 22 assists and 20 digs, and Raigen Cianciulli led the team with 34 digs. Senior setter Jackie Ward paced the offense with 34 assists. click here for complete story
