Conroe High School Theatre will present “The Voice of The Prairie” by John Olive on Oct. 23, 24, 25 and 27 at 7 p.m. in the Conroe High School auditorium.
The play centers on a young blind girl named Frankie and her companion Davey. The play moves back and forth in time between 1895 and 1925. In 1925, Davey, now an adult, meets radio salesman Leon Schwab, who hires Davey to tell stories on the radio. On the air, Davey recalls his childhood days with Frankie and as the radio program becomes more and more popular, Frankie (now Francis) comes back into his life.
The cast includes Tommy Swaim as the grown Davey, with David Tovar as young Davey. Sarah Perry plays Francis, with Isabel Hurtado as young Frankie. Quinn Berry portrays Leon Schwab. click here for complete story
