The College Park Cavaliers (1-3, 2-6) played their most complete football game of the season, and behind A.J. Sanders 141 yards rushing and a touchdown, they defeated the Summer Creek Bulldogs, 42-28, Saturday night at Woodforest Bank Stadium.

College Park Head Coach Richard Carson was confident in his team tonight. “I asked the kids individually, how’s our team? They said ‘coach we still believe’, as long as they keep believing we’re going to be fine. Last week, we’ll be playing for a playoff spot.”

Leading the way for College Park was Sanders, who carried 22 times for those 141 yards (6.4 yards per carry). His touchdown was from 28 yards out. Quarterback Robert Ferguson threw for 78 yards and ran for 21 to go along with two total touchdowns. Dane Nichols, Dominic Garcia, and Greg Maxie all posted touchdowns on the evening.
