A furious Kingwood comeback attempt fell short as the Lady Mustangs fell to Klein Collins 25-20, 25-19, 15-25, 18-25, 15-12 in a Region II-6A bi-district match on Tuesday.

The Lady Mustangs overcame a slow start to the match to force a fifth set, only to be edged at the end by the Lady Tigers at the match held at Spring High School. Klein Collins, the District 15-6A champion and No. 1 seed, will advance to play the winner of Lake Travis and Round Rock Westwood in the area round later this week. click here for complete story
