College Park had a rough opening night, falling to Cy-Fair 69-38 on Tuesday.
The Lady Cavaliers struggled with turnovers and had trouble handling the Cy-Fair press. College Park coach Michelle Richardson believes her team will get better with experience.
“We’ve got a lot of young kids and a lot of room to grow,” Richardson said. “They’re working hard, playing together and supporting each other. That’s all I can ask them to do.”
Haley Fitzpatrick led College Park with 12 points. Her twin sister, Devyn, finished with five. College Park’s Jasmine Atobajeun scored six points and added 10 rebounds, three assists and a steal. click here for complete story
