The Woodlands is making a habit of showing up in Huntsville in mid-November.

For the third straight season, the Lady Highlanders will participate in the regional tournament at Sam Houston State’s Bernard G. Johnson Coliseum. It’s one step closer to getting back to Garland for the UIL State Championships. But the road, as it has always been, is a tough one to travel. The Woodlands (36-3), ranked No. 6 in the state by the Texas Girls Coaches Association, will face off against Highland Park (31-15) at 4:30 p.m. in the first of two Region II-6A semifinal matches. click here for complete story
