All four 16-6A teams were eliminated in bi-district play of the high school playoffs, including Montgomery County’s three qualifiers — league champion The Woodlands, Oak Ridge and College Park — on Friday.

Atascocita made it a clean sweep on Saturday, losing to Spring 48-26 in the Class 6A Division II playoffs.

The biggest upset, of course, was The Woodlands’ 38-20 loss to Klein Oak at Klein Memorial Stadium. The Highlanders had won nine straight games and had one of the stingiest defenses in Texas, allowing just 70 points in six 16-6A games. click here for complete story
