The Way Home Veterans Memorial Monument

DSC09389

A Veteran’s Memorial is being developed in recognition of all who have served our country in mes of war. The Memorial will honor all soldiers who have served in the military during war me and some who have given the ultimate sacrifice for the safety and freedom of the citizens of the United States of America.

A large life-size sculpture will be a focal point of the memorial. Well known Sculptor, Edd Hayes, has created monuments and outdoor sculpture across the country. He has created the sculpture for the Memorial depicting the soldiers, Army PFC Cory Kosters and Corporal Zachary Endsley who were killed in action in Iraq and Afghanistan.

One is seeing the light and touching his buddy to show him they have found “The Way Home”. The Way Home Memorial will be placed in a prominent location of honor. The conceptual design of the Memorial has been developed and the location secured in the Town Green Park. All is in order and awaiting funding for the final construction documents and construction. The cost of the construction of this project will be funded through donations and by purchase of commemorative and display items.
