Volleyball: Montgomery County Player of the Year: Magnolia’s Morgan Miller

To say it was a successful year for volleyball in Montgomery County would be a vast understatement. With nine schools qualifying for the postseason, the area was overloaded with outstanding players, coaches and teams. But when all was said and done, The Woodlands reigned supreme as state champions for the second consecutive season. Because of that, it comes as no surprise that three of The Courier’s annual superlative awards went to the Lady Highlanders, who won the Class 6A title with a 40-3 record.
