An Humble ISD police officer was injured after trying to break up a fight at Summer Creek High School on Friday. It was the second fight at the campus in one week.

“That’s our nightly dinner conversation unfortunately,” said Monica Scarbrough, mother of two teenage boys, who believes the fights at Summer Creek are out of control.

“I know there are fights in other schools, but not on a daily basis or even three or four times a week,” added the boys’ father, Kent.

The latest fight happened between two girls in the school cafeteria when, according to a school district spokesperson, 750 other students were around. An administrator tried to break up the fight, but got tossed aside. click here for complete story and video
