A high-speed car chase in The Woodlands Friday night led to the arrest of a robbery suspect, who allegedly was driving the stolen vehicle of the victim.
The suspect, who was in a red Hyundai Elantra, crashed at the intersection of Woodlands Parkway and Grogan’s Mill Road. Montgomery County Sheriff’s deputies then chased him on foot into a nearby wooded area, where he was located and taken into custody.
While MCSO officials on scene were not authorized to release an official report or name of the suspect, Lt. Brady Fitzgerald issued a press release after 11 p.m. Friday identifying the suspect as 24-year-old Reginald Dewayne Mitchell. The suspect was believed to be involved in the aggravated robbery in the 3500 block of Tangle Brush Drive in South Montgomery County just minutes before leading deputies on the chase. click here for complete story
