Yes, it’s still very early, but the Kingwood High School girls’ basketball team has taken a liking to the new district it finds itself in. Realignment placed Humble ISD schools Kingwood, Atascocita and Summer Creek in a new district with Conroe ISD schools The Woodlands, College Park, Oak Ridge and Conroe.
The Lady Mustangs are 3-0 in sit atop the 16-6A standings as the calendar turns over a new year. Victories over College Park (58-29) at home, and road wins over The Woodlands (49-42) and Oak Ridge (42-38) have given the team a head start on the rest of the pack. Click here for complete story
