Conroe heads into District 16-6A play with a 13-7 record, plenty of talent and depth and a penchant for lapses down the stretch.

The Tigers overcame those lapses in their first game of the Conroe Christmas Classic on Tuesday, turning back Katy 46-39.

In the second game, the consolation finals, Conroe played considerably sharper in the fourth quarter while taking out Cypress Creek 55-41.

The Tigers will play host to The Woodlands in their 16-6A opener on Friday night after playing four games in two days at their tournament. click here for complete story
