In the final day of the Insperity Holiday Classic, Summer Creek pieced together a a pair of come-from-behind wins to close out the tournament with a pair of wins.
Earlier in the day Summer Creek (10-6) downed Lamar 66-58, then later came back to beat Cy-Fair 62-55.
“I mean every time you get a win it’s a good day,” Summer Creek head coach James Bailey said. “Sometimes they don’t come as easy as you’d like but I think we did a good job coming back in the second half, containing their guard, doing a good job on the big fella even though you can’t completely stop it.”
For the Bulldogs seniors Corrion Ballard and Paul Thomas led the way for Summer Creek, Ballard scoring 12 points against Lamar and 17 versus Cy-Fair, while Thomas had a team-high 16 points and 20 points taking on Lamar and Cy-Fair. click here for complete story
