Carsen Edwards scored 23 points to help Atascocita past College Park 82-56 to open District 16-6A play on Friday night at Atascocita High School.

The No. 1 state-ranked Eagles (18-1, 1-0) used a big second quarter to provide breathing room and ultimately cruise to victory start league play on the right foot.

Edwards was 8 of 18 from the field, connecting on 3 of 6 from downtown as his aggressive play helped fuel the Atascocita offense.

College Park (11-11, 0-1) hung with the up-tempo Eagles for the early part of the game but ultimately went cold in the second quarter, allowing Atascocita to build a lead. click here for complete story and photos
