The Mustangs (10-12, 1-0 in District 16-6A play) behind three 3-pointers by Mitchell Clouse, who finished with 15 points, outscored the War Eagles 17-6 in the second quarter en route to the eventual 60-37 victory.

“Our kids played well, they were excited about playing,” Kingwood head coach Royce Huseman said. “We came out and looked sharp at times and that’s what you’re really trying to do is come together for this time of season.”

The War Eagles (11-10, 0-1) were never able to really find their groove, getting outscored in the second and third quarter. click here for complete story
