Cold or not, the annual Lady Highlander Invitational and Kilt Cup will kick off today, welcoming teams from across the state to the prestigious tournaments.

The boys and girls tournaments will be held in conjunction over a three-day period at Bear Branch Park, The Woodlands High School and Woodforest Bank Stadium.

In addition to the host Highlanders and Lady Highlanders, the College Park and Oak Ridge girls soccer teams will also participate in the tournament.

Both College Park and The Woodlands girls teams begin action at noon today. The Lady Highlanders will face Rouse at The Woodlands High School while College Park takes on Cypress Woods at Woodforest Bank Stadium. click here for complete story
