Oak Ridge dropped its season opener at the Lady Highlander Invitational on Thursday afternoon, falling to Bellaire 2-0 at The Woodlands High School.

The Lady War Eagles, who lost eight starters from last season’s team that went 13-7-2, dominated possession in the first half and had plenty of chances to score.
