There is a change coming at Summer Creek High School.
A women’s soccer program that went 2-10-1 last year is getting an overhaul here in 2015 led by first year head coach Frank Owino.
“Very much a process because we have to change the culture,” Owino said. “The school as a whole where nothing comes easy. It’s no longer just games where we fill the players because we’re playing; we have to be ready for the game. So the training has picked up, the intensity has picked up; we’re trying to not lose games by the margin of 10-0. You don’t just come in and walk over us, there will be at least some competition. That is where we’re heading.”
The Lady Bulldogs are a team equipped with not a lot of experience or seniority. Summer Creek having six freshmen, four sophomores and a pair of seniors on the squad. click here for complete story
