After starting the season 9-12 overall, Kingwood has pieced together an impressive start to District 16-6A play and continued that trend on Tuesday night at home.
The Mustangs (12-12, 3-0 in District 16-6A) rattled off their fourth-straight victory beating Conroe 65-55.
“(Conroe) is much improved and we were excited about having the chance to go 3-0 and play in our own gym, so the kids came out and they knew how important it was,” Kingwood head coach Royce Huseman said. “We started out a little slow, but when it counted in the second half we came out and played well.”
Matt Mulloy led the charge for Kingwood with 22 points and six rebounds, while Fabian White had another big night scoring 19 points and grabbing 13 points. click here for complete story
