At about 12:24 p.m., Friday, a small helicopter flying over a neighborhood near College Park Drive crashed into a residential fence — a single fatality has been confirmed.

The crash occurred in the backyard of a home at 2510 Northline Road. The chopper, a Safari Helicopter, was piloted by 51-year-old Mike Mims, according to the crash report from the Department of Public Safety. click here for complete story
