The Woodlands HS students transform school hallways into galleries

The students of The Woodlands High School are helping to brighten their hallways by making them an art gallery with work by professional artists from around the state.

Each year for the past four years, The Woodlands Art Trust, comprised of a committee of students, has solicited artwork submissions from professional artists throughout Texas. Of the submissions, the committee selects 15 for the student body to vote on. The trust then purchases as many of the most popular pieces as possible with the $3,000 budget allotted by the student council. click here for complete story
