Atascocita (21-6, 8-0) came out and after a week off after beating Conroe handily at home turned in another impressive win, downing College Park, 59-35.

“Having a week off, because it’s been a whole week since we played Conroe, we came out rusty, we didn’t shoot the ball as well as we had been shooting,” Atascocita head coach Valery Jackson said. “We been averaging almost 77 points or so in district in these last five games and tonight we only scored 59 tonight. So I think we’re a little rusty being off for a whole week and adjusting to not having the point guard out there.”

For the Lady Eagles Naci Wilkinson scored a team-high 19 points, while Darby Pugh chipped in 11 points, Aimee Brown had nine points and Nadia Trevino scored six points. click here for complete story
