Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office, Feds Shut Down Meth Operation

On Thursday, Deputies with the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office Special Investigations Unit, headed up by Lt. Philip Cash, conducted a narcotics investigation, with the assistance of the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office SWAT team and Federal Investigators, served a search warrant on a business located in the 11500 block of FM 1488, in Magnolia.

The warrant was part of an on-going investigation involving the trafficking of methamphetamines. During the execution of the search warrant, evidence was recovered at the scene including 2 handguns, ammunition, drug paraphernalia, and 125 grams of methamphetamine. Four arrests were made as a result of an investigation.
