It may not have come down to the last seconds like some of the recent matchups The Woodlands has had with College Park, but Tuesday’s crosstown rivalry still had its compelling moments.
When it mattered most however, the Highlanders were able to capitalize on mistakes by College Park, ultimately winning 62-51 at The Woodlands.
The Highlanders improved to 18-10 overall and 5-4 in District 16-6A while College Park fell to 14-14 and 3-5 respectively.
Down 58-49 with 1:20 left to play in the fourth, the Cavaliers turned the ball over underneath their basket and watched as freshman Romello Wilbert threw a lob to forward Cameron Burkett for the slam, and a double-digit lead. click here for complete story
